Fulfillment, Client Relations Coordinator – OpenNorth

Open North has an opening for a detail-oriented individual who is obsessed with client satisfaction and comfortable in a technology-based environment to coordinate the launch customized online engagement websites for governments, school boards, non-profits and others, using its Citizen Budget application.

The successful candidate is able to work independently, has superb customer relations experience and strong attention-to-detail. Also important, is a positive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong listening ability, team-work, and communication skills are also highly desirable traits.

Key responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work with Open North’s clients, developers and business manager to build customized Citizen Budget online budget consultations. Specifically, you will be guiding clients through the fulfillment process, suggesting improvements to the design of the questionnaire and the choice of questions, setting up the online consultation, acting as the primary contact for their questions and requests, and advising on best practices to achieve a successful consultation. The selected candidate will be fully trained on how to build online budget consultations.

In terms of project coordination, in addition to the fulfillment process for Citizen Budget you will use your expertise to support other data and technology initiatives operated by Open North, such as online policy development consultation, predictive analysis tools, etc. You will be responsible for drafting technical proposals with contract developers.

Required qualifications/experience:

• Extensive client-facing experience

• Basic knowledge of CSS/HTML

• Good interpersonal skills

• Fluent in English

Desirable experience:

• Project management experience

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript

• Experience working with municipalities or government clients

• Experience in tech, and public and nonprofit sectors

• Interest in civic technology, open government, democracy

• Fluent in French

Open North is based in Montreal, Canada and will be accepting applications for telecommuting.
