New Brunswick Social Policy Research Network

Welcome to Sasha McEachern-Caputo!

We would like to welcome Sasha McEachern-Caputo as our new research coordinator!

Sasha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from St. Thomas University and is currently finishing her M.A. in Sociology at the University of New Brunswick. She has worked as a policy and research analyst on projects related to NB youth in transitions to post-secondary education and the workforce, workplace learning and local immigration partnerships. More importantly, Sasha has a passion for research that brings together academic, government, business and community partners and is so happy to join NBSRPN, an organization that is a catalyst for evidence-based policy development.

In her role as research coordinator, Sasha will be overseeing the coordination and administration of all aspects of the NB Social Policy Research Network’s policy research and development programs. More specifically, she will be identifying and pursuing both internal and external financial opportunities for collaborative policy research projects, coordinating workshops aiming to improve the capacity of individuals and organizations to conduct research and contribute to policy development, and creating a catalogue of member research as it relates to social economic policies. She looks forward to working with the network’s team and members to fulfill these responsibilities and wishes to thank everyone for their warm welcome.
