2015 NB Policy Research Forum

The New Brunswick Social Policy Research Network (NBSPRN) invites you to submit papers or posters to the 2015 NB Policy Research Forum that will be held in Moncton, NB on April 27th, 2015.  In 2015 NBSPRN will be celebrating its 5th Anniversary and would like to observe this milestone by highlighting applied research and evidence-based public policy development past, present and future.  The New Brunswick Social Policy Research Network would like to offer its membership the opportunity to submit papers/posters and showcase their work.

Selection Criteria

Papers/posters will be selected based on their relevance to the area of social and economic policy in New Brunswick. The papers/posters can report on completed work (research/projects/policy reports/case studies etc.) or works in progress.

Because NBSPRN is seeking to feature member research, submissions from community organizations, government departments, the business and private sector and from academic and non-academic researchers are welcomed.  Due to the nature of the Forum, the submissions will not be subject to peer review, but will be reviewed by the Forum’s organizing committee.

Publication and Networking Opportunities

Selected papers or posters will be considered for their relevance to social and economic policy in NB.

The selected papers will be featured as part of the pre-conference materials and will be showcased on the Forum website, uploaded to the NBSPRN Research Catalogue and will be promoted and used by the Network to facilitate further collaborative research opportunities.  Selected authors will be asked to present their paper/poster at the Forum.

The Forum will be attended by NBSPRN membership which includes senior policymakers, civil servants, researchers and administrative representatives from the province’s four universities, provincial community organizations and NGOs as well as engaged citizens.
