Free Workshops open to UNB Graduate students

The School of Graduate Studies is pleased to announce Mitacs will be holding workshops available to Graduate Students. Space is limited so be sure to sign up soon!

Mitacs Step has been bridging the gap between university learning and career success through professional skills development since 2008. Step workshops offer an interactive learning environment with small class sizes, and are facilitated by leading business and industry professionals. Turn your academic success into a rewarding career!

The following workshops will be taking place at the University of New Brunswick Fredericton campus and are open for registration:

Skills of Communication – February 12, 2015

Foundations of Project Management I – March 10 & 11, 2015

Practice Your Presentation Skills I – March 19, 2015

Where: University of New Brunswick Fredericton

Venue: McConnell Hall, Sr. Commons Room

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

(registration begins at 8:45 a.m.)

You can create a profile, view the workshops, and register on the Step website, step.mitacs.ca.

The workshops are free of charge if you attend the full workshop. However you will be charged a $50.00 “No Show” fee if you register and do not attend the workshop or if you do not cancel before the finalized registration period of 5 calendar days prior to the start date of the workshop. Additionally, participants that present themselves but do not attend the workshop in full will also be charged a $50.00 “Withdrawal” fee.
