The New Brunswick Social Policy Research Network (NBSPRN) supports evidence-based public policy by bridging the gap between those making decisions, those conducting research, non-governmental organizations and New Brunswick citizens. NBSPRN fulfills this mission through activities that aim to (1) strengthen New Brunswick’s policy research capacity; (2) facilitate relationships that create cross-sectoral and inter-disciplinary policy research, (3) engage citizens and community-based organizations in the policy development process, and; (4) mobilize knowledge to assist in governing decisions.

The NB Social Policy Research Network has been in operation for five years now. Since inception the Network has seen a steady increase in the number of individuals, community groups, and government departments that use the Network as a resource for social policy development in the province of New Brunswick. As each year passes it is increasingly important that we understand how well the Network is at responding to the needs of its members. We ask that you complete a short survey that will allow us to evaluate the effectiveness of the services being offered by the Network, and how to push forward in the future.

All of the information that is collected by means of this survey is completely confidential and all measures will be taken in order to ensure that all published results do not disclose any personal information. There are 24 questions, some of which require you to provide some suggestions for how the Network can improve current practices and/or implement new ideas to better help its members. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and we ask that you answer all questions to the best of your ability.
